On Friday, April 20th ASW hosted the second PTO community color run that was open to all ages.
During the color run, runners had a chance to run 1, 2 or 3 laps around a course on the school grounds. On each lap, runners passed through 8 different stages at which volunteers threw colorful powders at them.

Prior to last year, there was only a color run for Seniors as part of their last day of school activities.
According to the PTO office, the idea to hold an additional color run right after the Seniors’ run was the result of many requests from students and parents over the years.
Thanks to the MS & HS Track coaches who set the course and the parent volunteers who manned the color throwing stations, the color run was well attended despite the cold weather.
