With the school year nearing a close, several teachers and many students have decided to open the next chapter of their future careers and lives. Warrior News interviewed one of the departing teachers, grade 9 and 10 English teacher Mr. Weeks.

“I have been here for 2 years and have made very fond memories throughout my time at ASW,” said Mr. Weeks.
Some of these memories include Coffee house performances, playing basketball with fellow teachers, and having intense philosophical discussions with students.
Mr. Week’s best memory in ASW was during the JV Boys Basketball trip in Istanbul. One of the students, Lucas G., made two clutch free throws after time expired to send the Warsaw team into overtime. As a result, the team won the game.
“We were celebrating like we had just become the NBA champions,” Mr. Weeks said proudly.
The next chapter in Mr. Week’s life is Minneapolis, Minnesota, “a green, lush, clean, super beautiful city.” He is looking forward to reconnecting with his family and old friends.
